The Pass Museum by Werner Tscholl

The Pass Museum by Werner Tscholl:
The rocky region of the Passeiertal and Otztal valley in Austria take in the “Pass Museum” as a part of its rugged environment. The museum, designed by Werner Tscholl, has an arbitrary, geometric shape that juts out of the scenery significantly contrasting against the nature of its location. Inside the building features an “Ice Cave” that pays homage to the great pioneers of the High Alpine Road and facts about the history of the name Timmelsjoch and the pre-Christian era. As part of the Timmelsjoch Experience, several other architectural sculptures enlighten visitors about the history, culture, community, economy and nature of the surrounding area along with the museum.
